Brad O’Farrell CEO of Cantrip Games and Co-Creator of Story War Will Not Be “Trolled” by “Kids” Who Are Disgusted by His Very Cool Joke That Transgender People Are Not Human and Do Not Have Souls
Cantrip Games CEO Brad O’Farrell has recently come under fire. Tumblr user capsulehotels writes “Hey in case you missed it do not support story war” on a post seeking to boycott Story War that’s garnered some 1,500 notes and reblogs in the last 8 hours.
“Looks like Story War co-creator Brad O Farrell is also a human piece of trash.” says blogger Mr Dappersden, one example of hundreds of people who have expressed disgust at Brad O'Farrell’s behavior this evening alone.
“Why?” You ask. “How could anybody be mad at the man whose tactful editing of another guy’s home movie spawned The Keyboard Cat Meme, the celebrated and beloved internet cat sensation?” Although it truly is boggling dear reader, let me tell you a tale. Spin you yarn, if you will. Get it.

Once upon a time, Brad O’Farrell (whose Story War card game was funded for more than a quarter of a million dollars on kickstarter earlier this year) posted a screenshot to his personal blog that read:
“I hate when people say that transgendered [sic] people have the soul of one gender born into the wrong body. Only humans have souls.”
Along with this hilarious joke he also the attached the comment “#ThingsIDecidedNotToTweet”, probably because hashtags do indeed add a glossy sheen that makes outright declarations of bigotry more palatable to the modern audience.
When criticized for his amazingly funny and totally normal observation, O’Farrell retorted that “tumblr’s attitude towards transgendered [sic] people is ridiculous”, clearly outraged at the suggestion that transgender people are in fact human and do potentially possess souls. Shortly after, Brad continued “if you’re gonna get all harumphy about us talking about that then, whelp, that’s ridiculous.”
Yes, it is quite ridiculous to be revolted by Brad O’Farrell’s conduct, but undoubtedly not as ridiculous as Brad’s amazing, wacky and 2013 Very Edgy Award Winning tumblr post. Truly I posit the question, who could be edgier and more of a jokester, more of hilarious gigantic clown than Cantrip Games’ own Brad O’Farrell? Surely no one.
No one could be a bigger clown in the entire world than Brad O’Farrell.
